Nobody Beats The Beats
"Nobody Beats The Beats is proof that the love for the beat is big in Denmark. A line of Denmarks best, most weird, and most groovy producers and DJ's is delivering instrumental beat-art on international level. Influenced by soul, jazz, electronic music and hip hop, where the groove, the sound and the beat is at the core of the music" (kilde: TV2 Zulu)

Nobody Beats The Beats delivers the music and beats for the dance-battles in Cirkusbygningen. The fusion of music and dance is unique as the band and dancers interacts.

Salah Benlemqawanssa
Does he really exist? A man as light as a leaf, as hard as concrete and as flexible as a wire ? A man who is remarkable and amusing at the same time ? And yes, he exist ever since Salah put his feet on a stage!
As the french stand-up comedian Jamel has managed to do on the comic scene, Salah has managed to contribute to making the hip hop culture popular - in particular the Street Dance. He has proved that the street art also has its authentique stars.
On top of all this Salah has received many international prices - French championship, world championship - the list speaks for itself.
Just watch this big Jumping Jack turn himself into a robot ready to do all movements - especially the unpredictable ones. A performance that shows the years of training, the use of every inch of his body that makes us believe that he is a human machine – but a machine with feelings.... Salah love poetry and humour as much as the pure physical challenge. And this dancer also knows how to make the audience smile and laugh.
In short, Salah on a stage makes you enter another universe. It is as travelling on the edge of reality. Salah makes you experience something you have never seen before and never will see again if you don’t catch another salah show.

Freestyle Phanatix will present a short version of their new performance A STREET HISTORY

A Street History integrates breakdance, graffiti, dj´ing, beatboxing and rapping in one show. The common ground for the 5 elements is the association to the concept Street Culture.
Street Culture in this particular framework is the different means of expression used in a public urban context.
The title of the performance is ambiguous/diversified and is corresponding with the dividing of the performance in to parts. The first part is a story, in the sense of a past. The second part is narrative in the sense of telling a story.
The performance takes place on streetlevel – where the boundaries between consumer and participator is blurred. The place where you are recognized for your authenticity. Producer: Freestyle Phanatix

Idea & History: Per Vers & Ole Omkvæd
Choreography: Kim Bøytler & Karsten Mathiesen
Set design: Ulrik Shot
